We are looking for:  

 Advanced Systems Group, LLC (ASG) is seeking a Traffic Coordinator to manage the execution of programming schedules for a major global technology company’s FAST/linear live shopping channel distribution network. This role will execute scheduling operations and platform coordination for the daily playout of the distribution network.

Embedded with the client’s channel operations team, the Traffic Coordinator will own scheduling workflows and manage all content programming updates to ensure broadcast accuracy.

This on-site role is located in Midtown Manhattan, NY, for a broadcast professional with experience in traffic operations and playlist management across linear and FAST channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling Support

    • Playlist Ownership: Maintain and execute the content programming schedule, ensuring 100% accuracy for all placements.

    • Log Management: Execute daily schedule updates and adjustments to the master broadcast log.

  • Platform Operations

    • Playout Execution: Manage technical workflows within Amagi and Frequency to ensure seamless channel delivery.

    • System Management: Execute daily scheduling and traffic workflows within WideOrbit and Amagi to ensure 100% accuracy of the distribution network.

    • Feed Coordination: Execute scheduling for all primary and sub-channel programming feeds.

  • Data & CSV Management

    • Data Integrity: Manage and audit CSV uploads and data updates to ensure system synchronization.

    • System Accuracy: Audit and maintain all scheduling data across broadcast systems and platforms.

  • Programming Coordination

    • Operational Alignment: Collaborate with programming teams to ensure accurate and timely channel listings.

    • Deadline Management: Execute all operational tasks related to scheduling updates under strict broadcast deadlines.

Required Qualifications & Experience:  

  •  2 to 5 years of direct experience as a Traffic Coordinator or Scheduling Coordinator for a linear broadcast or FAST channel.
  • Hands-on expertise using Amagi or Frequency for cloud playout and playlist execution is required.

  • Proficiency in WideOrbit for enterprise-level log operations and ad inventory.

  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to place every single asset into a playlist using automated scheduling functions.

  • MUST HAVE experience scheduling for a professional linear or FAST channel. Experience limited to social media or YouTube scheduling will not be considered.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Comfort working with spreadsheets, CSV files, and scheduling systems 

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams.

This full-time role offers a salary of $29-36/hour, depending on experience.
